Packages to be sorted are automatically fed by two roller units and overturned in the upright position. Two transferring units equipped with clamps transfer packages on the storage carousel cells. The storage carousel moves step by step until a full cell is in front of one of the 5 storage areas where the package is directed by a transferring unit for its first sorting operation ("SORTING OF INCOMING PACKAGES").
Thereafter, packages are again transferred by transferring units to the next storage areas according to customer references ready for delivery.
